Salem, WV (June 20, 2025) – Two people were injured after a crash involving a commercial truck in the Salem area on Thursday, June 19. The collision took place at the crossing of US-50 and W. Main Street at around 4:15 p.m. It was reported that a semi-truck collided with a sedan.
Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. Two parties were hurt and transported to nearby hospitals by ambulance for treatment of sustained injuries. The circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been provided. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. No updates on the collision are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
