Nitro, WV (July 8, 2025) – On Monday, July 7, there were confirmed injuries following an auto accident in the Nitro area. That night at around 5:34 p.m., the crash took place at the intersection of Kapok Street and Main Avenue. At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, and emergency crews were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties.
The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic.
