Huntington, WV (June 16, 2025) – On Sunday, June 15, there were confirmed injuries after a car accident outside of Huntington. The crash was reported on Interstate 64 WB that afternoon at around 12:50 p.m. The victims were reportedly traveling in a single vehicle when it crashed near mile marker 21. 

It was reported that responders from the Barboursville Police and Volunteer Fire Departments were on scene alongside Milton Police and Cabell County EMS. Two of the parties were injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, the circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been determined. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. The number of parties involved in the incident has not yet been reported. No further information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
