Rawl, WV (June 19, 2025) – On Tuesday, June 17, two people were killed after a single-vehicle accident in the Rawl area. The deadly accident was reported on WV-49 sometime between 8 p.m. and 9 a.m. the following morning. It was reported that the driver, 24-year-old Keyonna Norman, was traveling on the roadway when the vehicle rolled over a 75-foot hillside onto nearby railroad tracks.
Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. Norman was ejected from the car in the impact. Another occupant, a young child, remained in the vehicle and was extricated by attending emergency units. Despite life-saving support, both victims sustained fatal injuries and were later pronounced dead. The area was temporarily closed while local authorities were present. No further information on the deadly accident is currently available.
