Princeton, WV (June 6, 2025) – On Thursday, June 5, two people were killed after a pileup crash in the Princeton area. The deadly accident took place at the crossing of US-460 and E. Martin Street that afternoon at around 2:53 p.m. Local reports indicated that four vehicles were involved in the accident.
One of the vehicles had three occupants and overturned. All occupants were trapped inside, and emergency units were deployed to extricate the victims. Four parties were rushed to WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries, and two were later pronounced dead. The other two parties were listed in critical condition. The area was temporarily closed as local authorities were present. No further information on the deadly crash is currently available. However, an ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is in progress.
