Nitro, WV (May 19, 2025) – At least one person suffered injuries in the aftermath of a traffic accident in Nitro on Sunday, May 18. Emergency crews were dispatched to the crash site on Interstate 64 near the 46 mile marker late that night at around 7:22 p.m. Two vehicles reportedly collided at the scene.
There were confirmed injuries, but the severity of the related damages has not been determined. The injured parties were treated by attending paramedics. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized by ambulance. The circumstances leading to the collision have not yet been determined.
