Martinsburg, WV (July 3, 2025) – Two people were injured after a crash involving a farm tractor in Martinsburg on Wednesday, July 2. The incident was reported at the 9500 block of Tuscarora Pike that afternoon at around 1:45 p.m. The crash reportedly involved a Hyundai sport utility vehicle and a John Deere farm tractor operated by the West Virginia Department of Highways (WVDOH).
It was later revealed that the Hyundai was traveling westbound on the highway when it traveled across the center line and collided with the WVDOH vehicle. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and had to be towed from the scene. The driver of the SUV was seriously hurt and transported to Berkeley Medical Center for treatment. The operator of the tractor was also hurt and transported to a local hospital for support. No further information on the collision is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
