Clendenin, WV (May 22, 2025) – There were confirmed injuries following a car accident in Clendenin early on Thursday, May 22. Early that morning at around 3:31 a.m., the collision was first reported at the 16 block of Interstate 79 SB. At least one person involved in the crash was reportedly injured.
At this time, the number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been confirmed. Emergency crews were present to provide aid to the injured parties. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized by ambulance. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present.
