West Virginia Reckless Driving Crashes

Charleston, WV - Victims Hurt in Wreck on Loudon Heights RdOne main reason people get into car crashes in West Virginia is that drivers often get distracted. The most recent crash data in the state shows that a big chunk of all recorded crashes are caused by drivers who are not paying attention. A new study found that driving while drunk can be just as dangerous as driving while distracted. However, people view driving while drunk as significantly more harmful than driving while distracted. About 3,000 people die every year in the United States because they were driving while distracted. Every year, hundreds of thousands more suffer severe injuries.
