Charleston, WV (June 6, 2025) – On Thursday, June 5, injuries were reported after a car crash in the Charleston area. The accident happened early that morning at around 11:30 a.m. on Interstate 77 near mile marker 95. A semi-truck and two other vehicles reportedly collided at the scene. All northbound lanes were temporarily closed as a result of the accident. 

At least one person involved in the collision was hurt. At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. The victims requiring additional treatment were later transferred to local hospitals by ambulance. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
