Charleston, WV (May 8, 2025) – There were reported injuries following a car accident in the Charleston area on Wednesday, May 7. The incident was reported at the corner of Washington Street W. and Pennsylvania Avenue S. early that morning at around 11:13 a.m. Three vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident.
At least one person involved in the accident was hurt. The injured parties were treated at the scene by attending medical personnel, and those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized for further support. At this time, the number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The area was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris.
