Charleston, WV (May 26, 2025) – There were confirmed injuries resulting from a vehicle collision in the Charleston area on Sunday, May 25. That afternoon at around 3:06 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the crash site at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue North and Washington Street West. At least one person involved in the collision was hurt.
At this time, the severity and number of the related injuries have not been confirmed. Attending medical personnel provided aid to the injured parties. Ambulances were available to transport the crash victims to local hospitals for further support. The roadway was temporarily closed as emergency responders were present. Tow trucks were later dispatched to clear the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic.
