Charleston, WV (May 28, 2025) – On Tuesday, May 27, at least one person was hurt following a traffic accident in the Charleston area. The collision was reported early that afternoon at around 12:28 p.m. at the 500 block of 39th Street SE. Two vehicles reportedly collided at the scene.
Emergency responders were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. Ambulances were available to transport the crash victims to local hospitals for additional treatment. The severity and number of the resulting injuries were not included in the initial reports.
The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris.
