Cameron, WV (May 16, 2025) – There were serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash in the Cameron area on Thursday, May 15. The accident took place on Fish Creek Road near Greenfield Ridge. It was reported that a sheriff’s deputy was responding to a domestic violence incident when they collided with another vehicle.
Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. The deputy was flown to West Virginia University – Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown for the treatment of serious injuries. The second driver was treated at the scene and later released.
